This is a digital critical edition of the staging of Dion Boucicault's play, The Shaughraun at the Drury Lane, Theatre Royal, in London 1875. Uniting digital models of the incidental music, blocking, cast, and news, this edition emphasizes the materiality of theatrical event as opposed to the intellectuality of the dramatic text.
Hosted on this site is an interactive score of "A Jug of Punch," a prominent song in the play. Check back this summer (2017) for more interactive scores from the play. The resource is made with Augmented Notes. The full score can be found in the Drury Lane Theatre Archives.
